This Weekend Club trip was yet again a total success.The Event was from the Friday 16th to the Sunday 18th.The Club Members took full advantage of Working HF into the earlier hours of the Morning.
The Event was Enjoyed by All and There was around 200 confirmed qso's made.Over the Weekend CQ World wide was Active which was Great.There was Also a Contest on in Germany which activated the bands and we took full Advantage of this.
The Working conditions for the Event was the Clubs new i-com 7400,300w linear Amplifier feeding into a full size G5RV up about 35feet for HF.Yaesu 857,200w linear Amplifier feeding into a tri-band Antenna up about 40feet for 2m,70cms and 6m.
The Lapwing Lodge sleeping bunks were avalible for us to use again which was great.
Thanks to Lapwing Lodge for there hospitality again over the weekend.We look forward to the next time.
