Lapwing Lodge June 2010
Well yet again the club weekend went really well and was enjoyed by the members.There was a 2m contest on were we managed 183 contacts.The 10m band was open which we worked around 60 contacts.
We had a problem with the g5rv so not alot of hf contacts.Never mind there's allways next time.
The lapwing lodge was very busy with scouts on a camping weekend and as usual the door was open for the scouts to come in and play radio.
On the Saturday night the members and visitor's had a bbq,drinks and played radio into the early hours.We had to pack up early due to weather on the Sunday as the scouts had to use the hall.Rain Rain Rain.
Thanks to lapwing for the accommodation and we look forward to next time.
