Lapwing Lodge June 2008
This Event was arranged as a field trip in Conjunction with the 100th year Anniversary of the Sea Scouts.
This Event was Covered Nationwide by other Amateur Radio Club in Support of the Sea Scouts.
As the Renfrew Club in based at the Scouts Hall in Renfrew we were ask if the Club would like to Attend at Lapwing Lodge.The Event was from the Friday to the Friday.
The week long Event was a Great Success as there was a lot if Interest from the Young Sea Scout who made lots of Contacts both local and long Distance.The Sea Scouts also made Several Contacts with other Sea Scouts Nationwide.
All the boys of the Sea Scouts and the Senior Scouts Enjoyed the Event so much all Renfrew Club Member were given a 100th year Sea Scout Badge to say Thanks for all the hard work put in by the Members.
All the Club Members are looking forward to the next Event at Lapwing Lodge.
