Lapwing Lodge June 2007
This Club Field trip was very Successful in all respects.The trip was Arranged for the Club Members and other Amateurs around the Renfrewshire area.
Over the Weekend the Members were Working all bands on hf,vhf and uhf all modes.
The Working Conditions for the Event was,Kenwood 570d,2x yaesu 857 and yaesu 7800.The Antennas used,CP6 Vertical Multi band,6m mono band 2M,70cms Duel Band Vertical and G5RRV at about 40ft.
Over the Weekend we had In Excess of 200 qso's.
At the Lapwing Lodge we had Cooking and Sleeping Facilities which enabled us to spend the weekend at Lapwing and take full Advantage of work hf into the early hours of the morning.
The weekend was a Complete Success and was Enjoyed by all the Members.
