Renfrew Amateur Radio Society

Club History

Renfrew Amateur Radio Society was started in 2004 by the founder member Tommy 2M0 TXA.Within a few weeks the club had 25 Members which got us off to a really good start.

The new Members were really keen to joint Amateur Radio and sit the Foundation Exam.The Club since then has Built a shack upstairs and built up a vast amount of Radio Equipment both in the Shack and for field trips.

Since the club opened there has been 56 Foundation Exams,16 Intermediate Exams and 5 Full Exams.
